children\u2019s tracks for the cars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span title=\"L\u2019opera fa parte di un ciclo composto da quattro elementi che condividono le scelte formali, tecniche e in termini di materiali impiegati. \">The artwork is part of a cycle consisting of four elements that share the formal choices, in terms of techniques and materials used.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The building is composed of concrete modules with a core of cement mortar from coarse grain size, whose surface coating is rather smooth and polished, with a grey colour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The artwork was produced in the factory with an industrial process, which means a concrete casting inside of wooden forms lined with a release material.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span title=\"Estratti dall\u2019intervista tecnica a Julian Opie: \">Excerpts from the technical interview to Julian Opie:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span title=\"\u201cSi tratta di un\u2019opera unica.\">&#8220;It is a unique work. <\/span><span title=\"Fa parte di un sistema per cui potrei realizzare un gran numero di lavori simili, ma non uguali.\">It is part of a system to which could realize a large number of similar works, but not equal. <\/span><span title=\"In realt\u00e0 sono state fatte quattro opere di questo tipo, tutte hanno le stesse qualit\u00e0 di materiale.\">In fact it was made four works of this type, all have the same quality of material. <\/span><span title=\"In questo caso il lavoro \u00e8 stato disegnato e progettato da me seguendo le forme di un giocattolo basato su piste da corsa reali e poi ha fatto realizzare i moduli in una fabbrica.\u201d \">In this case the work was designed and engineered by me following the forms of a toy based on real race tracks and then made to realize the modules in a factory. &#8220;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span title=\"\u201cLa scelta di materiali come il calcestruzzo \u00e8 legata alla produzione di quest\u2019opera, vuole essere un riferimento che suggerisce al pubblico qualcosa in pi\u00f9 sul lavoro.\">&#8220;The choice of materials such as concrete is related to the production of this work, it wants to be a reference that suggests to the public something more at work. <\/span><span title=\"Il calcestruzzo si riferisce alle strade e alla costruzione, unito a un riferimento alla minimal art, all\u2019architettura, ai giochi infantili in cui si costruiscono cose come castelli di sabbia\u201d. \">Concrete refers to the roads and construction, combined with a reference to minimal art, the architecture, the childish games where you build things like sand castles. &#8220;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span title=\"\u201cImagine you are driving si pu\u00f2 scheggiare, macchiare, creparsi e sporcarsi.\">&#8220;Imagine you are driving you can chip, stain, crack and get dirty. <\/span><span title=\"Bisogna evitare questo tipo di danni avendone grande cura durante le fasi di trasporto, installazione e stoccaggio.\">We must avoid this kind of damage having great care during the transport phase, installation and storage. <\/span><span title=\"Quando si movimentano pi\u00f9 elementi insieme, \u00e8 facile farli scivolare e che si rompano.\">When handling more items together, it&#8217;s easy to slide them and they fail. <\/span><span title=\"L\u2019imballaggio esige una cura e una strategia corrette, e bisogna utilizzare materiali per lo stoccaggio che siano idonei, non abrasivi e asciutti.\u201d \">The packaging requires treatment and a correct strategy, and you need to use materials that are suitable for storage, non-abrasive and dry. &#8220;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span title=\"\u201cSono felice di aiutare in caso di bisogno, preferisco essere coinvolto.\">&#8220;I&#8217;m happy to help in case of need, I prefer to be involved. <\/span><span title=\"In alcuni casi un restauratore \u00e8 l\u2019unica opzione possibile e noi artisti siamo dilettanti.\">In some cases a restorer is the only option and we artists are amateurs. <\/span><span title=\"Tuttavia molti dei miei lavori possono essere riprodotti facilmente.\">However, many of my works can be easily reproduced. <\/span><span title=\"In generale, il lavoro dev\u2019essere unico, ma laddove le sue sembianze dovessero cambiare vorrei ripristinarle e anche rifare quello che non funziona pi\u00f9.\u201d \">In general, the work must be unique, but if his form were to change I would like to restore and even redo it no longer works. &#8220;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
