Not only exhibition space, but also a meeting place for exchange and reflection, Bonioni Art Gallery in Reggio Emilia inaugurated its activity in 2003 with a group exhibition with Mattia Moreni, Giuseppe Banchieri, Omar Galliani and Federico Lombardo.

Under the careful direction of Ivano and Federico Bonioni, many exhibitions have been presented to historically mastered artists such as Afro, Vedova, Crippa and Fontana, as well as new talent and excellence in contemporary art research, such as Mirko Baricchi, Simone Pellegrini, Silvia Camporesi , Pietro Iori and Josè Demetrio.

Among the most important exhibitions,  Mattia Moreni, Giuseppe Chiari and Pietro Iori solo exhibitions, as well as the collective artworks of Italian and international painting masters such as Turca, Scanavino, Morlotti, Marca-Relli, Birolli, Sam Francis, Mathieu, Hartung.
